“The introduction of Building Information Modeling in work practices has in some ways “overturned” the activity of the Quantity Surveyor, who now sees the need to reinterpret methods of analysis traditional in the light of the potential represented by parametric modeling. In this contribution, the main elements of effective 5D management are recalled, so as to facilitate the understanding of the impact of BIM on the Cost Manager’s work logic.”
