For those who work at B&B Progetti
Decisions that affect people follow written, verifiable criteria. Recruitment and performance evaluation are designed to limit unconscious bias, the pay gap between women and men in the same role is monitored, and the criteria for awarding the variable component of pay are made transparent. Flexible hours and remote working are part of how work is organised, and anyone returning from parental leave receives structured support.
The framework is set out in the Gender Equality Policy (in Italian), which commits the company to removing the cultural, procedural or material barriers that prevent professional abilities from being fully expressed. Results are measured through anonymous staff surveys, HR data analysis and internal audits; the Gender Equality Steering Committee reports deviations to senior management together with corrective actions.
For those who work with us
For clients and partners, the certification is an independent check on how the firm is organised, covering architectural design, cost engineering and construction management. The system is not a stand-alone document: it rests on the Integrated Management System already certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 and UNI/PdR 74:2019, using the same procedures, audits and management reviews that govern quality, environment and BIM.
It comes in the same year in which B&B Progetti became a Benefit Corporation (Società Benefit). The certificate, the Policy and the anonymous reporting channel are collected on the Sustainability and Benefit page.
Support from Regione Lombardia
B&B Progetti took part in the public call “Verso la certificazione della parità di genere” (Towards gender equality certification) issued by Regione Lombardia and managed by Unioncamere Lombardia, which funded both the consultancy to set up the system and the certification service.
Project carried out as part of the initiatives promoted by the Lombardy Regional Programme ESF+ 2021-2027, co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus.
